Sligo has so many beautiful places to see and experience, visitors should plan to spend at least one day in Sligo to take in all the beauty, before going on to their final destination. Sligo Park Hotel,
Sligo

This hotel was built in the early seventies and opened as Jury's Hotel, part of a chain across Ireland. Later it was sold and renamed the Sligo Park. In the 1990's they added a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool. It was recently acquired by the Lee Group and remains one of the area's most popular contemporary hotels. It is located just outside town on the main Dublin road.

Part of Irish Court Hotels, this newly opened hotel features 66 luxury bedrooms, bar, restaurant, leisure center and conference rooms. Radisson SAS hotel,
Ballincar

Formerly known as Ballincar House, this newly refurbished hotel is located just a couple of miles outside Sligo town on the road to Rosses Point. The Classiebawn Restaurant, overlooking Sligo Bay, offers the finest in local & international cuisine.

Ocean View Hotel,
Strandhill

Located in the seaside resort of Strandhill, about seven miles from Sligo Town, this intimate hotel has only ten rooms and sits at the base of Knocknarea mountain. The family run hotel is comfortable and is located less than a mile from the Sligo Airport.

Clayton Hotel,
Sligo

In one of the most dramatic makeovers ever, the former St. Columba's mental hospital has been transformed. Built in 1847, the landmark building boasts a striking granite exterior, which has been lovingly restored into an impressive contemporary hotel with landscaped gardens and spacious parking just outside Sligo Town. It was recently purchased by the Clayton Hotel group.

Sligo Southern Hotel,
Sligo

One of Sligo's older hotels, this property started life as part of the famous Great Southern chain. Sometime around the 80's it was sold and renamed the Hotel Inishfree. Now known as Sligo Southern, it is located in town, just a block from the railway station. 

Yeats Country Hotel,
Rosses Point

This seaside hotel in Rosses Point faces the Atlantic Ocean and is steps away from the Rosses Point Golf Club. It started life as part of the once popular Ryan Hotel group and was known for years as the Yeats Country Ryan Hotel. It has 100 rooms. 

Cromleach Lodge, Castlebaldwin

Located closer to Boyle, near Lough Arrow, this is a secluded getaway hotel. Run by the Tighe family, it is famed for its fine cuisine, splendid accommodation and the beauty of the surroundings. It closes during the Winter and is sixteen miles east of Sligo Town near Castlebaldwin.

Mary and Tommy Carroll are the welcoming hosts at this lovely Irish country home accommodation situated on the outskirts of Sligo town. Ard Cuilinn, the holly tree in the front garden, is 150 years old. The lodge is only less than a mile from Lough Gill and the Lake Isle of Innisfree, immortalized by Yeats' 1893 poem.

Mary & Kieron Kearney are the owners of Pearse Lodge B&B, located on Pearse Road, just a few minutes walk from Sligo's centre. All bedrooms have a private bathroom, hairdryer and Tea/Coffee making facilities. The lodge is located very close to Sligo's sports complex.
